son of a @!#@%#%%&* so yestarday i decided to pik up my gf and go to the beach nd on my way to the beach crusin 30ish (beach traffic) i kept bak a little from the lady in a vw in front of me light is green all of a sudden she just takes a monster step on her brake and right away i slammed on my brakes but my lude cudnt stop as fast as her goddam vw my car is lowerd nd went under her bumber nd tottaly mesd up the whole front end im lke wtf it was 30 mph radiator hood the whole bumper and the steel piece tht is welded on the front end bent so easy and i saw it was quite rusted im so pissd man i lovd my lude nd i only had it a couple months i wana jus get another one with a vtec engine my question is wut did u guys do wen u wreckd or totaled ur lude cud i sell the parts get money lke tht or sell it to a junkyard i rele dnt kno tips wud be alot of help i gotta get myself bak on my feet again with a new lude

o and also that dum b**** had an expired license nd she cud barely speak english if she respected the laws in this fine country i wud still hav a car

you could get just a junker and drop your motor,tranny etc.. you know and save some money,

when i totaled my jetta i sold it to a VW repair shop for a couple hundred so that was a good start on gettin my lude. but wouldn't the law say its her fault sinceher license is expired?

look in the paper, i know theres companies who will give you atleast 500 dollars for any car because of the scrap metal, you could probably sell the engine then sell the shell for the 500 and make a nice amount from it, see whatcha can do, maybe you can even help out a few guys on here by parting out some stuff!

Scrap metal from cars isnt worth that much. You wont get 500 from a junkyard for a little car like this. The price for scrap cars, around here anyway, is $9 per 100 lbs., which is high compared to a few years ago when it was around $4/100 lbs. Example: I took a 1980 Cutlass to the junkyard, it weighed 3220 lb and I got $289 for it. Lude doesnt weigh that much = not worth $500. For 500 they must do something else with the car. So if you can get 500 for it then go for it.
