Hey whats up im really new to forums, i donno what im doin but i have a turbo question for an h22a1, what pistons should i get, i know low comp. but any reccomendations?

first off, what are your power goals for the motor?
whats the car gonna be used for? drag/autox/DD?
how much money you looking at spending?


you might not even need to do internals if your power goal isn't too high.

weekend driver, but everyone and their mom has a stock h22 turbo, i wanna beat all those ****in gay ass v8 camaro's that go around ****ing with hondas. I have skunk 2 stage 2 head build kit for it fuel rail, pump, full
3" exhaust, i just know ima blow it and im scared to put it together and tune it lol!

anything over 300hp is gonna need some bottom end work.
you can either sleeve the block with iron sleeves (which is about a grand alone) which allows you to run any forged pistons, or run the mahle gold series pistons which are the only FRM-compatible piston right now, but there is only a select few running those pistons right now.
then get some forged rods, polished and balanced crank, honda or ACL main and rod bearings, ARP head and main studs, and you should be good to go.

9:1 is a very popular CR for boosted hondas, but if you have alotta faith in your tuner, you could run a bit higher, like 10:1

tuning is the most important factor with F/I.
