well my car no longer has a nice clean body on it, a lady that works for my mom backed right into the drivers side door and put a nice crease in it and sratched the **** out of the paint, seriously this **** ****ing sucks i just got the motor in it and got it back on the road not even a month ago and i was at the point to where i could start movine forward with it and this **** happens...

anyways, im tired of careing soo much about this car that i think im going to sell it.... seriously it's just a car and i've put my heart and soul into it and i think i should sell it before i mess it up or sombody else does and i lend up going to jail for killing someone, but how bout it people who wants a once clean 3rd gen with a dent in the door?

Also, what's the mileage on car, on motor/trans, 5spd, auto, I assume 4ws? I would be interested.

it's not quite that simple, she's my mom's cousin, and she's around for a long time, so my mom isn't going to make them pay for the damage because it happened in our yard and she "scratched" her car too..

but it's a 91 Si 4WS 5 speed all origional paint on the metal i had the front and rear bumpers repainted after i got it because the paint was chipped up on the corners of them, but there is 157,398 on the body right now and i just put a jdm B20A in it at 156,454 miles at 143,798 i put in a rebuilt B21 and i put in a frehened up d2a4 tranny in it, i took it to a tranny shop do the work they charged me 250$ to do that... and thats the tranny that is currently in it..

She still backed in to it didn't she. Suggest that she pays for it she can say no to a suggestion, Its un-familylike to not pay for it. I'm surprised she did offer to fix it after she hit it.

Seriously mate that's a tough break. But unfortunately we all find out that nice cars seem to be a magnet for those who can't drive cars. How bad is it?

I'd hate to see you give it all up after all that effort for something so small in the scheme of things.

it's not all that bad, after i cooled down i went back out there and got some scratch out and some wax and went over it and got most of the small scratches the the black paint from her car off of it, but the door molding took most of the hit but there is still a crease that is about 6-8 inches long about halfway between the door handle and the side molding, you cant really see it too bad from a distance, but i'm going to run around tomorrow and get some prices on what it will cost to get a body shop to fix it, or i could pull a door off one of the other preludes and do just buy the paint and paint it my self, either way im still probally going to take it off the road for probally another couple weeks so i can do my tailights and all that good stuff, and i need new door pins, i've been putting off that for a while but i think im going to finally do it

Take it Jake, he didn't say he'd swap the suspension out. You won't need it to fast to escape to po-po. They either slow down or eat trees as you go winding off.

haha am i nuts? yes... but to be honest if you would trade me your car with the motor in it i would probally take the motor out and put it into the black 4ws, i just feel more at home in a 3rd gen, i've test drove a few 5ths and its a much different ride then the 3rd, you can tell that you're throwing around a heavy car when your driving them (compared to the 3rd gen atleast) but don't get me wrong they're sexy as hell, but if i could have my choice it would be a 3rd gen with a H22 over a 5th

A 5th gen is just a fatter and faster 3rd gen. I feel right at home in a 3rd gen after getting out of my 5th. It's always kinda odd getting in a 4th gen, even after I drove it everyday for almost 2 years.

I love doing that sort of ****, it reminds me of auto body, and shop in H.S.

I also have a buddy of mine that runs his dads business here locally. His name is Craig, at "JT's", I'm sure you know where. He's done a great deal of work for me over the years, and he maybe able to hook you up....that is if it's something that we can't fix.
