I forget whos car I saw it in, but it was a 4th gen. The center piece between the two back seats (about chest height when sitting in the seat) was converted into a spot for 6x9 speaker. I thought i might do this custom or buy the replacement piece somewhere. I just wondered how to wire it.

I thought about splicing into an existing speaker line from the rear deck but will this shorten the watt input for both speakers? Do I run another wire from my receiver?

editt.

well i found this but i didnt get a definite answer.

make sure you have more then 1 pairs of rca jacks in the back of your head unit. if you do then yeah. if i were you i might even go for a 5channel and get a little more wattage to all your speakers excluding tweeters.
