hmm... a couple comes to mind.
i'm cruising down a street going the speed limit at 50 mph in lane #3, big ol van in #2 matching my speed next to me, and nobody in #1. we come to an intersection with the light showing green for us. lady in oncoming traffic decided to make a left turn right in front of us. van swerves to #1 lane. i had nowhere to go and plowed into her. police report shows that she claims that i was drag racing and therefore unable to see her. :rolleyes: too bad for her, the guy in the van served as a witness and told the exact same story i told the police.
another time, i took my lude to the dealer to fix a cracked radiator. one way or another, still don't know how, when i called for status at the end of the day, they said my block detonated and has cracked. they wanted my permission to replace the h23 block for $4k. i told them to get their hands off my car, and that i was going to tow my car out of there. on the way off the dealer lot, the tow truck driver told me he's towed a lot of cars out of that dealer. few weeks later, a jdm h22a made its way into my car for $3k, but it was missing a header (h23 and h22 headers are not interchangeable). having just spent all my savings on a new house, i scraped together what i could and put a dc header on it.
