Well I saw this a while back on another site but it didn't have any pictures so I decided to give it a go. I can get covers for pretty cheap if I decide I don't like it so I went for it.
Items Needed
-Box cutter
-400 or 500 grit sandpaper
-Can of primer
-Paint of your choice color
-Hot glue gun (Optional)
1. Pull the front covers off the speakers in the doors. Pull from the right side since it's latched in on the other side. It should come out fairly easily. When you're done, you should have this:

2. Tear the fabric off. You may need a box cutter but mine came off pretty easily.

3. Sand it down good.

4. Primer.

5. Depending on how long long it takes the primer to dry, wait about 20-30 minutes. Then paint time. I used silver.
6. Let the paint dry for 30 minutes and put it back on.

*Optional Step* 7. You can take your fabric and trim it up some and hot glue it back onto the back side if you wish.
Final thoughts: I wish the silver wasn't so flashy but it was brake caliper paint. If I decide to keep it as is, I'll go back and put the cloth on the back. I do want to paint the grill on the tweeter covers to finish it off but that's for another day.
