im just gonna go ahead and ask it here. i"ve had this carbon fiber hood as long as i had my 92 prelude and it's been looking all bluury. it doesnt shine like it would if i were to throw some water on it and when it dries, it's back to its blurry self again. i was wondering if maybe waxing it would make it better.. but it only spreads the blurriness all over the hood. do i have to have a shop reapply the clear coat or is there a special carbon fiber shiney wax thing??

try to wet sand the hood and if that doesnt work then maybe you need to re spray that thing
Most likely the blurriness is caused by road grime and stuff.....
you'll be a good goo and grease remover. Not sure which ones you've got over there in the states but pretty much just any that can remove grease would be perfect. Once you go over the hood with that, apply a a layer of wax over the top and it should keep it looking schmick. If possible use claybar on it before waxing and after grease removing just to pick up the rest of the uglies lying on the hood.
Well there isn't any edit button for my last post so I had to make a new one......
here's some steps a guy did on JDMUniverse.com to get his Carbon Fiber hood back to it's shiny appeal.....
