i found a few complete kits for cheap but they are for 5th gens.
what modifications must be done to make it fit on a 4th (both h22)

the kit that i bought was for a 5th gen that i modified. the only reason i needed to modify it was cuz i have an H23, requiring a different manifold. the different manifold placed the wastegate differently, forcing me to use a different charge pipe for the 1st piece. but other than that first piece, the other 3 pieces of the piping fit absolutely perfectly.
butttttttttttttt since you already have an H22, you can use the same manifold, and the charge pipes should fit pretty good. those are really the only generation-specific parts that you need to worry about, everything else should fit fine: fuel pump, injectors, IC, turbo, wastegate, bov, oil lines, gauges, etc...
the downpipe might need some modifying tho, i'm not sure.

it sounds like you need to make up your mind as to what you REALLY want, cuz you've been going back and forth with turbo or N/A for months now. you needa decide what you wanna do wit your car

well there has never been a doubt that i would go turbo if i had the money. mostly i had decided to go n/a cuz my parents wont let me get a turbo. i would just do it on my own but i would still rather have the respect from my parents over having a turboed lude. im hoping they will give in sooner or later. right now i am just pooling more and more money just in case they do let me. ive already got the car paid off so i dont really have anything to pay for besides insurance. they are concerned with me gettin myself killed so i think once i have the car for a while and they see i am not a typical idiot teenage driver maybe they will reconsider.

my parents said that about my turbo too. bt here's what i told them. u can go just as fast in a minivan as u can in a prelude, u can speed in both of them, prelude will just get u up there faster. but ur still gonna go the same speed either way so it doesn't matter what u drive. i told the i put my turbo on for tack use only and it helps with gas. hahaha. i'm glad they aren't too bright

yeah lol i said it helps for gas too, that was my main arguement, and that it would save my engine in the long run(if i drive it right) haha. and they are too worried im puttin too much value in the lude because it isnt worth that much for resale. but i said you can use the turbo with any car i get. they don't really listen to my information, all they know is turbo=a lot of hp and money.
i can understand them not wanting me to die. its just really frustrating knowing i could go turbo but they feel like its too much car for me to handle. im like mid 17 and i havent gotten a ticket yet so idk why they cant friggen just trust me.
