my parents decided for me. turbo is out of the question for now. dam them. anyways so that means 3 grand-ish for exterior. i need to replace basically every body peice on my car (both fenders, hood, both bumpers, sunroof, headlights-jdm's, trunk, spoiler, drivers side quarter panel) and i would like to paint. if i get good deals im hopin to get this all for 3k. already got quarter panel for 150 and front bumper with lights and fogs for 80 bucks and sunroof for 70 lined up but not bought yet.

i want to get like a red-orange w/ pearls. i want it to last though cuz my paint is all flaking and clear is peeling now and this paint is only a few years old. the only place i know is maaco(keep in mind im in nebraska) in denver. i know you get what you pay for. so how much should i be expecting to pay for this paintjob. and also i dont care about door jams etc.

mm if you read up on some peoples experience with maaco i think youll see that they can do a good job if:

1. you pay them more to do a good job, ie the type of painting levels they offer...but then you might as well go elsewhere that also specializes but is not as "commercial."
2. you prep and install all yourself first and just roll your car in haha.

prepping really is key and what costs the most time and money...
no door jams or trunk/hood interior panels will save you a little bit but why have it mismatch? unless you plan to repaint again later?

of course hand in hand with the success stories come the bad one as well.
how the cheaper maaco options may not last long...but again ive personally only heard that due to their shotty prepping..

call local maaco for diff prices on the diff levels of paint jobs they can provide. ask them first to get an accurate idea...it varies sometime due to location i believe.
