2 incidents 1 Night

Yeah..so i just finished droppin off my girl at home and im driving home..im looking for a song to put on, on the ipod. BAM!!!, cops. I wasn't going over the speed limit..and tomorrow my suspension starts so i was just saying to myself wtf what did i do now. So i get stopped they asked me for license n reg, so as im getting it out of my wallet the cop checks out my headlights, and seeming i got those purple HID's they say its distracting, "any reason why there purple" i said yeah my lights are fading, (lol idk thats all i could think of) so anyway, i wait there 5 minutes..he comes back, tells me yeah we stopped you because your center brake wasn't working, i got a ticket for it, i was pissed seeming it wasn't my tail lights. So i asked him i said, if i had the sh of this version would i have got stopped seeming that it doesn't have a center brake light at all, he said there would be a light somewhere else i just ignored it and said ok. Ok that was the first incident...


Now the second..i'm making a right its a little wet outside, i guess i wasn't paying attenion and i turned the wheel a lil TOOOO much...my car just skidds out, i almost hit a guard rail i just slammed on my brakes, i was on neutral, so i threw it on 3rd and i just made it before hitting the sidewalk.. whadda night i'll tell ya...this car is giving me bad luck or something..but i love it to much! :cool:

I would have told the cop to blow me on the headlights there are no laws any were saying that you cant have purple, if they were blue ( Im talking about really blue ) or red then he could have said some thing. But this does lead me to this question.....why did you go with the purple hid? It does put out less light. (im not dogging you I'm just wondering )

when you're braking, you NEED 3 brake lights to light up, hence the 3rd brake light.

but apparently thats what the cop told me to ^, o well..im getting it fixed right now anyway, apparently the light isn't even connected!!!! so for as long as i had this car, it hasn't been working..and a lot of cops i passed or had followed me never stopped me because of that..ridiculous...

well i only went with it because i thought the voltage was 12k so i thought the higher the brighter...boy i was wrong..lol but yeah i was going to ask that to, can i have any color as a headlight? because i also asked a cop about that to they said only white...but i thought it can be any color..:confused:

yeah true..there not bright so i shouldn't...the lights aren't illegal, just the kit, they can't open my hood though i think i read somewhere...

If they have probable cause (i.e. seeing that you have purple headlights), they can open your hood, and do whatever else they want. True, theyre dicks, but unfortunately, they have the badge, the gun, and the billy club. :mad:
