i saw this one prelude with blue numbers, an as my stereo being blue,
and everything else breaking on my car i said hey!
what the hell, who cares if this breaks, my car sucks anyways.
alright,
since my car is at my other house i wont at this time be able to help you with how to remove the clock, ill make sure to update this later though.
AFTER REMOVAL;
Once removed and brought inside you have your nice little 97-01 clock
[note that i am working on a 97 clock out of my base model]

Now then, there are several clips around the clock holding the face to the back,
Disclaimer, If you are opposed to a clip breaking and or frustration DO NOT ATTEMPT, STOP NOW AND STAY ORANGE. YOUR BOUND TO BREAK ATLEAST ONE [1]
If you decide to stick with this though it will start to look like this;

Once you have carefully removes the face from the front make sure you DO NOT tip the face towards the ground, the buttons will fall out and you may loose them!
here is the two split, careful around the circuitry, it is not recommended that you use a tool, your hands will do.

Next, carefully pull out the button pushers one by one and store them safely somewhere for later reassembly.

Next apply pressure to the face pushing it out through the "back" of the clock, until you get results similar to this;

I have yet to do this step yet, but next install the buttons and place the color piece of plastic in front of the screen as shown,
http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i95/Thomastk/DSC00618.jpg
remember! the better you cut the plastic to fix the less it will rattle and make unprofessional like results!
last, slide the faceplate over the bottom and your done, then go back into the car and replace everything and plug it in,
The clock its self without a color as shown;

glows green blueish color so if your happy with that then leave it with no color, although it may be a goo idea to put clear or a sunglass like material in front
enjoy, i hope i helped.
