So here is my Lude.. its a 5th gen 1997 2.2 vtec 4ws motegi. i have kept it fairly stock but here goes

Interior:

Red Leather motegi half leather seats with red carpets and door panels. I did have the option of having the red dash but thought it might start sqeaking if i change it so left it standard.
Custom short shifter with chrome gearknob.

Exterior

Motegi bodykit
clear indicator lenses.
lowered 35mm approx
17" super lightweight alloys with yokohama parada spec 2 - 215/40/zr17 tyres
type r red emblem

Mods

Greddy e-manage ecu
race spec race branch manifold and decat
vtec shift point adjusted to 4800rpm
NGK Platinum spark plugs
K&N panel filter
Brembo discs
Ferodo ds2500 front pads
Rear ebc green stuff pads

Like i said..us brits always get screwed..on the UK spec there is no front fog lights only one in the rear.

i did contemplate taking it out but guys at the m.o.t place advised me against it.

to be honest with you i dont really know the answer..all i know is that some uk spec 1997 preludes had several different types of intakes.. i also had a 2.2 auto vtec and that was somewhat different to this one..but this one sounds a lot meatier

I never planned on getting a red lude..in fact i never even liked red before i bought this..i was stuck between getting a silver 2.2 without the bodykit or this one..until i met someone who had red leathers for sale and thought to myself the red combination will look good ..plus they look great when they are clean and only when they are clean and with the way it rains here every couple of days its hard work keeping it that way but i never regretted it.
