All you need is a lip, USDM fogs and that's it! (IMO)
I like stock looking Preludes, that's just me...

nice.

I'm from Central Jersey... about 10 minutes outside of Philly. Yeah I'm gonna keep it fairly stock look wise. I'm thinking lip kit and JDM fogs and that's about it.

Also, those pics are fairly deceiving as far as the "clean-ness" of it goes  . It actually needs a new paint job pretty bad, it's got a good amount of fading from the sun on the bumper, hood, roof, and trunk (basically anything that's on the top of the car), and it looks like it's been in a hail storm at some point in its life... It's got lots and lots of little tiny dents...

She runs well though, just needs some TLC.

The two bar grill was 97-98 only I believe. I'm looking to get a honeycomb grill bad as hell though.

Update: Just received my new Exedy stage 1 racing clutch, and will be ordering the fidanza flywheel on thursday. I'll get some pictures of the clutch up here when I can, and hopefully get some pictures of the clutch install when it happens too. I just came into some good luck, a friend of mine from Florida was visiting for the weekend, and I just found out that his younger brother (who still lives around the way from me) builds honda/acuras. He told me that if I weld his high flow cat onto his integra, he'd do my clutch/flywheel/main seal for free! So I'll hopefully have some pics of the install up too! He's got 2 integras and a BEAUTIFUL civic hatch for his d/d. He did a 5 speed swap on one of his teggies so I am fairly confident in his ability to do a clutch/flywheel install :-)

Edit: Here's some pics of the product. Looks nice! (Sorry for the crappy blackberry pictures)

Dude!!!!!! You are freaking awesome! Thanks for answering my ?????s about O2 sensors, I'll definately look into getting them fixed! I just wanna double check so I can make sure thats what it is, but I'm about 98.367% sure.

BadMofo
02-05-2008, 07:59 PM
No problem man... it's a cheap fix if you use aftermarket sensors... the honda oem ones are like 200+ from some places, and like 130 from majestic honda. I recommend the denso for the front, i think it will also work on the rear too, i just don't know if the chord is long enough to reach the harness.

Now please understand that I hardly ever swear, but EFF that!!!!! $200 bucks for O2 sensors?!?!?! I think I'll take your advice instead. See thats why I love this place, cause we Luders help each other out.

Updates!!!!!!!

Well... it doesn't seem to wanna let me edit my OP, so I'll just do it all here.

The lude has been down since december with a broken clutch... Since then I have purchased some new parts and more are to come, and she should be back on the road very soon!

New parts purchased:
Honeycomb Grill (my 97-98 style will be FS soon if anyone is interested)
NGK Plug wires (thanks to Jesse [Pooponurhead] for an awesome deal)
Exedy Stage 1 Clutch
Fidanza 8lb flywheel
OEM Rear main seal

Soon to come:
Brembo slotted fronts
Powerslot slotted rears
Hawk Pads
Possibly new taillights... maybe even an LED mod (undecided yet)

Not so soon to come:
Custom in-car PC setup

Unfortunately I was involved in a pretty bad accident today... not in the lude, but in my sister's car... so some of my funds need to be saved to help her out with her transportation situation. Once my funds are freed up however, expect to see some more news (and pics) of the lude!

Everything is good... thanks for your concern. The other driver was 100% at fault (he ran a red light AND went straight in a right turn only lane and t-boned me) I just need to keep some funds to help out until the insurance money comes through... Thanks again for your concern though!

Aight here is an update on the clutch job.

After about 20 hours of work, the tranny just got bolted back on... If anyone out there is looking to do this job for a Type SH... make sure you don't skip ANYTHING in the book... Nick and I got jammed up by forgetting to bang out the inner/outer extension tube before trying to drop the transmission... the outter extension tube was then getting hung up on the frame and it was a real bitch to bang out out because we got the tranny wedged in there pretty good...

Also, I HIGHLY recommend that before you lift the tranny back into place, you re-attach the rear motor mount, remove the front motor mount, and remove the front cross beam... There is absolutely no room to work with if you don't do that... You have maybe a half an inch on the front and rear of the transmission if you don't remove the cross beam... After about an hour and a half of struggling with the cross beam in place, we removed it, and then got the tranny aligned and on in about 15 minutes.

Hopefully this Saturday will be the last day of work on it before she drives again =).

that main seal was fun eh? :-)

It wasn't too bad, then again, after dropping the suspension, exhaust, transmission, and ATTS, everything else seemed easy lol. The main seal really only gave us a hard time as we were trying to get it to go into that cover plate evenly, we ended up putting a 2x4 over it and got it to go in straight =)

To be honest with you, the hardest part of the whole entire process was re-routing the coolant hoses for the ATTS...

That little ATTS badge makes so much of a difference to the front end doesnt it! What's the 8lb flywheel like? I would've thought that 8 would almost be too light for a dd.

To be honest with you, I was worried because everybody says that, but it is not really different at all... On flat roads it engages almost identical to stock, everyone says you need to load a lot of rpms to get it moving, but I find that that's not really true (at least for me). On inclines it takes a lot more getting used to than on even surfaces... but even then it's not a whole helluva lot different if you use the e-brake trick to stop yourself from rolling before you engage the clutch...

The biggest difference I see is that if you want to do a hard launch... you gotta load a lot more RPM's than you do with the stock flywheel...

Since it's so light, if you try to launch hard and get off the clutch too quickly, it doesn't have enough inertia to keep itself spinning so it either slows your rpms down so much that you barely roll off the line, or it stalls out completely... Launching hard at like 4 grand you'll even notice that your rpms drop to about 2200-2400 and you get off the line a bit slow if you don't feather the clutch right... it just takes a bit of getting used to...

But otherwise, i find it absolutely acceptable for a DD, even in the city.
