ok this is long..
ok last week 6/22/06 i graduated high skool.i was leaving the skool parking lot, and driving slow as hell cuz there's ppl all around.. there was a cop directing traffic right..he told me to keep driving, so i did. i didnt rip it or nothing....so last night i open my mail and see i have something from the police station, so im like ok...ITS A FREAKIN RECKLESS DRIVING TICKET!!!! I was like wtf...so i read the ticket right. Get this my name is on the ticket and the car is registered to my dad(weird huh i think he's messin wit me) and the cop nevered pulled me over so he never new i was driving..so there it is im so mad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yep i no and still the fact that the car is under my dads name and the ticket has my name is wats gunna F**k the cop over

They can't just send people random tickets without even pulling you over and checking your ID, can they? What state are you in?

nope they can't. Infact the only way you can get a ticket in the mail is if you run a readlight that has a camera on it.

some of the cops write bogus tickets just to meet quota. they know that it won't hold in court, but they need to write one anyway cuz they're boss said to. some of them will make mistakes on the ticket on purpose cause they know that it's a bullshyt quota.

i wouldn't be suprised if the quota is higher for the cops who patrol around the school. (something about youth and speed)

a cop stopped me and a buddy of mine for drinking in front of Wrigley Field. wrote a ticket...but under the box 'time of offense', he checked AM and PM on BOTH of our tickets.

hence, the judge threw out the case and no fine issued since time wasn't 'properly recorded'.

only time a cop hooked it up for me.

nice, i haven't gotten pulled over yet, but im sure it will come one of these days.. but that is stupid that they wrote you a ticket for nothing, im sure you can fight that and win.

They can. Down here around DC they have speeding camera's as well. I already got one for goin 64 in a 55
