brake pedal going soft?

my brake light came on a few days ago so i have been trying to find time to go see my mechanic to see whats up but tonight it feels kinda like the brake pedal is getting soft, goitta floor it to get it to brake and it kinda makes a air sound like theres no pressure behind the pedal. been thinking maybe i need to put fluid in it or something....

the brake light comes on because of the fluid level is too low. so check your fluid level.. refill it and monitor for leaks. a good way to do that, every day you leave your house, try to park in the same spot when you get back. and every time you go out look for spots. if you see brake fluid spots on the ground look directly above that spot and you found your leak. also, if the fluid level is to low, you might have to bleed the brakes. which im pretty sure is the case since you have to floor the brakes to get it to stop.

Seriously man, Drew is right. It's a simple problem. . .I worry you may not be ready to handle the pains of a 2g if you can't figure out a simple brake problem. lol
