my father is giving me a Memphis Power Reference Amp 1000w monoblock and 2 10" memphis subs.....is this a good company?

from what i've heard yes they are a good company but i dont speak from experience. i had a memphis audio sticker on my old lude it came stock when i bought it.lol

That's all my friends wil buy. I'm not big into stereo stuff myself but they sound good. They all brag about some warranty. They intentionally blow the speaker then only pay $15 and get a whole new sub. Retarded but that's not a bad deal.

Memphis audio makes very good stuff. You have a good combo there. Their amps are reliable and make good power. What model 10" are the ones you are getting? What kicker subs are you currently running?

i currently have Kicker Comps 12" in a Kicker designed box

Memphis subs are 10" model number: 15-MS104

The 10" Memphis should work great for you. The kicker will probably have a little more out put. The Memphis is designed for small box application, this will save you some space and is a more Sound Quality oriented sub.

I would try the Memphis out before selling your Kicker. depends on which one fits your needs better.

a friend of mine has 2 memphis 12's w/ i think a 500/1 amp and they KNOCK!!!
