Anybody have any experience with a CF trunk lid and hood? How do you keep it from fading?

keep it waxed and clean

when it fades sand it and re clear it with actual auto clear

but to prevent it from fading wax it with high quality wax

yes... if you dont wax it, it will be faded in 6-8 months... i know from experience

Yeah, I planned on keepin' it waxed, I just thought there was something else I could do. I was looking into this clear film called x-pel to go over the headlights, bumper, and hood to prevent rock chips. My stock hood is munched from rocks hitting the front.

my friends jdm 1 piece black headlights are peeling...we dont know what to do with them :confused:
