removing the center vent thingy

so i just bought a retroed 350z triple guage pod for my lude. i was wondering how hard is it to remove the peice in the center of the dash that has the vents and clock on it (5th gen). i've searched and couldn't find a write up on removing this! can someone please help me with this?

it wasnt bad in the fourth, dunno about the fifth, in the 4th i had to take out the shift boot area of the center console, then work my way up.. cd player and the plastic around it, and then my vents were attached to the climate control

There is an HVAC section.. might include the vents..

nope. the HVAC section doesnt tell you how to remove it.
