Very Angry

As I was leaving work last Sunday evening I noticed my freshly painted 97 Prelude had been keyed all the way across the hood. To beat all its painted black and shows like a sore thumb. Any suggestions to mask it or easy fix rather than sanding and re painting. I used this stuff from Turtle Wax called Color Magic and it did not help at all. Thanks

damn, it can't be buffed out? is the scratch deep enough to where you can see the coatings? cause if its that bad touch up paint would not work- you can get touch up paint and fill in the scratch easily but it will NEVER be unnoticeable, its got to be done right or it just won't work =\

Man that sucks, if you find out who did it pop their gas tank open and poor sand in it- don't slash their tires or key them back. show them not to f around cause there someone out there who'll always do you 1up

Thats sucks, what the hell is wrong with people? you could try to buff it out, but if its to deep you will have to paint it.

damn yea that sucks... touch up paint will work but youll always notice it... if its beyond the clear coat youre gonna have to resand to make it right

Well seeing that it happened at work and they have security cameras on the parking lot. I have talked to the head of Security and they are going thru the whole 12 hour day that I was at work. Plus I have an idea of who done it, so if that person was anywhere near my car they are going to be brought it for questioning. So it will be getting fixed.

Update:
nothing was found on the tape seems my car was parked beyond view of the camera, just my luck huh? Funny though that girl I havn't seen at work anymore, maybe coincidence. But thats okay I am in the process of getting a body kit and will be re painting it, I'll make sure I have enough to repaint the hood too. Who knows maybe I'll go crazy with a custom paint job.
