pinstripe help

so i went to peel of my pinstripes today and i noticed that the previous owner must have already attempted this. and now its like the sticky pinstripe residue is caked on the car...i tried to use goo gone but after about 15 min of scrubbing one spot i gave up cus it doesnt seem to be working ...any body have any suggestions?

Heat it up some then try the Goo Gone. Just don't get it so hot to mess up the paint.

i use razors to take pin striping off, but i wouldn't recomend this if you have shakey hands or terets (sp?) but i worked at a detail shop and got kinda use to it, just run the razor back and forth on your window before to dull it down a little bit so it wont slice into the clear...
