FYI- H22a6 or you mean H22a4???
You could turbo that motor no problem as long as somebody can tune it real good. by the way I recommand doing H22a or H22a1 block because they are solid deck. I rather put mahle gold-series pistons and boost up to 15lbs and I've seen couple of guys boosting 20lbs No problem.
have any questions just let me know,

thanks

well you coiuld go the easy way and spend between 2-3k on a kit already put together and pay an import shop to put it on or maybe DIY. or you could just collect the peices yourself. or get lucky like me and find someone that put together a real nice kit peice by peice and then had to sell it for cheap. got mine for 1750 and all i need is manifold and fuel pump. im not sure about like good brand names for every single part, just read through some turbo builds and it'll give you an idea on some good names. theres a nice 20+ page on preludepower, they got a few builds going on there including mine. i have heard that turbonetics, borg warner, and garrett have good turbo's and a few others i cant think of off hand. i have an airesearch t3 that came with my kit that i'm not gonna use if ur interested. i haven't used it yet but the guy that had it before me said there wasn't anything wrong with the performance. it does have a small crack or 2 where the exhaust pipe bolts onto it but they dont look serious enough to cause any problems really.
and for the IC i've seen people use cheap ebay intercoolers and piping cuz the only part you really gotta worry about on them is the rubber things that connect the pipes. for wastegates i got a turbosmart, i hear those and tial and greddy are pretty nice. BOV's, just listen to sound clips and find the one u like best. if u wanna know anything else just ask me and i'll see if i have an answer, i'm not an expert on all this but i've read many many many many turbo threads and i can remember alot of what people say

i could have jsut told him that, but i'm really bored and hyped up on coffee so i decided to write a lil something, that turned to alot of something. haha. but for real, just reading all the different build threads on the forums can help you get alot better understanding of the turbo. thats how i learned everything, reading and asking questions. and many people with turbo's would be more than happy to answer your questions

i didnt immediatly lock this or tell him to search because it SOUNDS like he wants to build his engine, which we dont have alot of information about on here, and we could definalty use some knowledgable people giving some advice about that.

but if your NOT planning on building your engine and your just planning on turboing, did you not see the "so you wanna go turbo" thread at the very top of the turbo section?? let alone searching which will yield PLENTY of helpful threads

treadstone performance seems liek they have a nice little website. no cheap knockoff parts. and they got pretty much everything u need, intercoolers, pipes for intercoolers, connecters, clamps, oil kit, turbo's, wastegates,BOV's. pretty much everything except fuel i think. look at that and pretty much every section is something u need. my kit included:
-flexpipe, chargepipes + intercooler with the rubber connectors(just buy a kit)
-dump tube
-air filter
-blow off valve
-wastegate
-turbo
-oil feed/return lines(jsut buy the kit for $100)
-boost controller
-clamps
-boost guage
-chipped ecu, p28 or p72
-injectors
-turbo timer
-hardware
the only other thing i needed was manifold, 255lph puel pump. most of the stuff you can get off their website

when we use the term "built motor" we do not mean to bolt on all the parts including a turbo and tuning. We mean sleeve the block, low compression pistons, rods, head studs, etc etc...

i know i want to sleeve it and put some low comp pistons in do headwork and shizz you know but i dont wanna try to get 500 hp maybe like 350-400 thats enough for a FWD car

that would be a nice number but it'd be hard to do much witht that on street tires unless you upgrade your suspension and other $hit like that. it'd be fun tryna drive in the rain though:eek:

350-400whp in B or H-series very easy to do, but only thing is your sleeve just might might crack after 1 yr drving and beating on it. Low comp Pistons, eagle rods, all OEM Honda Bearings and head studs.. you should be just fine. if you have some questions for stock block let me know! We did alots of stockblocks.... Ls/vtec stock sleeve only with pistons and stock rods ran 11.1@126mph!!! still running strong after 1 year! lol.
