window tint

i Want to tint my windows so i went to the shop and gave me a good price with life time warranty to. so my questions is what you guys think of cars with colorer tint on them, also he had a lil set up wear he can put 1 or 2 colorer diff in it to have a ghost like desine or w/e you want in it so whatt yall think

i think that blue definately looks tight. i think a design in the tint would be a little tacky but its your car. how much are you gettin it all done for. they are tellin me 180 here. i thought that was outrageous

ok no way am i getting the color tint now saw some guy with it and it looks way to rice if i get a body kit cf hood and all that i might all they cars i seen it on that looks good are show cars so im going black and on the back put a "hidden"

Check your tint laws, here in NC its illegal to have anything under 35% even though i have 5% on my prelude and 5% over 5% all the way around on my 4runner. The cops wont really mess with you unless they already have you pulled over. However one of the exceptions is colored tint. No matter what state your in, colored or mirror tint is illegal no matter what percent or where you have it. The only vehicle made in production with it was a generation of lexus rx 300 series.

Some Mercedes C230 Kompressors also came with a blue hue tint from the factory.

I like the shade lighter/darker H symbol idea. Or "Prelude" would even be nice. Gives me wonderful ideas for the future.

My sis had red colored tint after about a year it had faded to chrome and black so I dont think it lasts very long. Even though you would have a warranty it would be a hassel trying to get it redone.

black tint only. colored is tasteless. Symbols on windows are a sign of "gayness" also imo. We've all seen the guy with the huge HONDA on his front/rear glass... its like, thanks, but i could tell it was a honda without the billboard advertising dude.

Personally I like gunmetal or black tint........the blue doesn't look too bad though! Don't do a design in it unless you plan to ONLY show it!
