I'm looking into getting a prelude and eventually would like to turbo it. The SH model has some nice features like suspension upgrades, ATTS, better wheels, the spoiler, etc. which would be nice while the car is still n/a. A lot of the kits say "H22 non SH only", is this just because of the ATTS? what exactly happens if you leave the ATTS the way it is and turbo the car? will it just not work at a certain output, or will it be damaged? If it just "turns off" will the differential act as if it were open? Has anyone here turbo'd an SH? what did you do?

people have turbo'd SH's before, but once you start pushing some serious power in them, the ATTS basically gets disabled because it can't handle the extra power going thru the tranny/drivetrain. i think its somewhere around 250hp the ATTS stops working. so i guess it would be just like driving a base lude.

so will it still work when you're not revving high enough to make 250hp? I really like the idea of the ATTS, since i really really hate understeer. No one really seems to know if the ATTS is getting damaged either, anyone?

honda has the technology behind the atts on the hush. They're still using it in current cars. Good luck finding the information to get the atts to take the extra horsepower. I'm fairly certain you won't hurt it, it will electronically disengage.
