C'était un rendez-vous (English: It Was an Appointment) is a short film made in 1976 by Claude Lelouch, showing a nine-minute drive through Paris at 5:30 AM.

Despite (or due to) the limited availability of video tapes, it gained cult status over the years among motoring enthusiasts who admired the experience of speed and the reckless style of driving.

That's how all of them in France drive. Lane to lane, etc. They just usually don't go that fast since gas is so expensive and their Twingos don't go that fast.

wow that looked like fun. He blew many lights in that right there. Almost killed the lady running across the street with the red bag almost killed enough birds also.

That motor sounded real nice.. Esepecially on the down shifts and the lower rpms. I wonder how fast that 6speed can go.

Anyone catch the mis-shifts?

Getaway in Stockholm owns faces... The NSX one is my favorite, and the Porsche one is pretty badass too. **** all of them were good. And yeah, the Escort Cosworth was awesome as well...

Was the one with the NSX the one where the guy is stuntin on the street bike at the end? ... Yeah now that I think of it it is the same one, and then the guy grabs onto the spoiler of the NSX and skids on his feet down the track... ****in awesome.

he needs a HID retrofit, badly. my favorite part was when he was about to make a right turn, then NOPE, squealed the tires and went straight. there was a lot of "oh ****, BUS!" moments too.
