sounds pretty solid.
just throw a BOV, WG, and stealthmode oil lines and you're pretty much set.

how much power you lookin to make??

oh yea, and a wideband is a VERY good thing to have with boost. at LEAST get a narrowband, but you dont wanna skimp out on your AFR's

That's a solid setup.

T78 is a ginormous turbo. those are what supra and rx-7 and rb26 owners use when they do single turbo conversions, just to give you an idea. honestly its prolly overkill unless your making this thing an all out drag car. but if you want... its capable of about... 600hp. around.
might wanna reconsider that part

ok..im goin with the gt35 for a min of 450whp....if i had another prelude i would have made a drag car:biggrin:

the only problem I have with a gt35rbb turbo is that when boost hits, it hits really hard. But since your motor is going to be built you shouldn't have any problems...

i HOPE IT HITS HARD.....does anybody know a great(not good) shop in NYC that can put this together?

i would also do balancer shaft removal.
things you dont need to reach 400hp....
those stage two cams i wouldnt even bother...
and a different turbo mani... revhard produces too much back pressure.... look
into spoolin performance quick4 manifold.
this w/ a gt35r will probably hit you well over 400hp.

whoa t78 :) one of my favorites... on GTR's and other 2.5-3l engines... expect close to 450fwkw with that sucker :)

I know its an old post but I was looking to buying some pistons and I cam across this thread.

I found some JE pistions just wanted to know if these are the right ones for a H22A4

Specs: JE HONDA H22A R/D:87mm/9:1
Part #: JE-208475

If they are I'm ordering ASAP thanks

Also rods

Specs: EAGLE ROD:H22A1-PRELUDE
Part #: EG-5630H3D

I guess these will work even though I have the H22A4?

Also should I be looking for a H22A1 block as it has a closed deck, or can I have the deck closed on a H22A4 (can this be done?)

yeah those parts are fine and yes you can use them on the h22a4. Honestly I wouldn't worry about open or closed deck unless I'm going for really big power. When I say big power I'm talking like 6-700hp.

No Offence but F hks Id only go with Tial Bov and Tial Wastegate possibly greddy rs bov but Tial would be the way to go and bov sounds good.Hopefully you spend a good amount of money on a great tune and not make all this money go to waste like alot of morons.

just out of curiosity why don't you like the hks bov? I know I don't like it becuase it's a little too loud and fluttering sound it attempts to make is not as good as the Sard bov.

The sound of it.Unless its on a supra it sounds like its missing something.Id prob only pick a tial bov or greddy rs.Anything else just sounds to loud or annoying.Or I havnt heard any other good ones.
