Hey folks,

I'm John, 22 years old, I live in The Netherlands but I'm Australian. I recently bought my Prelude after searching around for the right one for a while. It's the European 2.0i 16v version (BA4, B20A9).

I found this forum and saw a lot of useful information on it, so I registered.

Enough chit-chat, here's my Prelude:

Engine:
2.0i 16v.
Stock everything, besides a 2" (?) exhaust pipe from the catalytic converter to the (Sebring) silencer.

Interior:
Stock.
"Rising sun" painted rear view mirror.

Exterior:
Stock.
17" BSA Racing five spoke rims.
A couple of stickers on the rear bumper.

Suspension:
Stock.

ICE:
Stock.

Misc:
HP Raid 300mm steering wheel.

Future Mods:
CAI.
Full custom made free flow exhaust.
Coil over set to get it lowered.
Amber corner lights covers. (Anyone here got any for sale? PM me please.)
Repainted valve cover, I haven't decided on what colour yet.
Rims cleaned up and repainted, the colour is secret for now.

(No off-site linking under 15 posts ey? Oh well, you'll all have to wait for more and full resolution photo's 'till then. :P )

I painted the brake calipers red last wednesday:

http://www.johnjoosten.net/photos/galleries/(0708)-August-07/_thumbs/700x525-070815-1329-red-claws.JPG (http://www.johnjoosten.net/photos/index.php?gallery=%280708%29-August-07&image=070815-1329-red-claws.JPG)

I put in yellow headlights yesterday:

http://www.johnjoosten.net/photos/galleries/(0708)-August-07/_thumbs/700x525-070822-0123-gele-lampen.JPG (http://www.johnjoosten.net/photos/index.php?gallery=%280708%29-August-07&image=070822-0123-gele-lampen.JPG)

They look more yellow in real life than in the photo. Don't ask me why I wanted yellow headlights, it's hard to explain, basically it's because I like old school stuff and they give a bit of a Japanese look.

I'm going to mount a rear brake light today. :)

Looking good mate. Love those rear fog lights! Was that just an EUDM thing? Haven't seen too many with them.

John

Thanks. :D

I think it's a EUDM thing. But unlike other cars here, both the fog lights turn on, instead of just one. :)

The left front tire was flat, so I took my car to the garage, to be told that all four tires were in a very bad state. They were all running on the inner edge of the tire, so the inner edges were completely worn flat. ¬¬

Anyway, my Prelude has got four new tires now, Marangoni Zeta 205/40ZR17. :) My wallet lost a lot of weight today. :D

Here's the latest update, sleepy eyes with the lights on:

I needed new brake pads and discs, so I bought some. I still need to mount them which I'll do after I've fixed the calipers since they're a bit seized up.

http://www.johnjoosten.net/photos/galleries/(0711)-November-07/_thumbs/100x100-071103-0459-brake-discs.JPG (http://www.johnjoosten.net/photos/index.php?gallery=%280711%29-November-07&image=071103-0459-brake-discs.JPG)

I also need a new radiator. Since a new one costs €175 ($250), I'm looking around for a used one, which is very hard to find here in The Netherlands, 3rd gens are extremely rare here. :(

AMBER FTW.
