last monday i got pulled over and i was in a nerve wreck because I was going 80 trying to pass the trailer aside me BUT I slowed down right away after a minute of it BUT a statey caught me with a gun, after the statey pulled me over, and I didnt have my wallet/license with me because I was rushing out to work, then he took my registration and he noticed that it was expired, holy ****, they were going to tow my car! thats what i was thinking! my ticket was going to be yay high, my step will be going up, BUT this cop asked me where I was going and how far do i work, and ive been so good, i havent gotton pulled over for speeding, racing in over 2 years! well where i worked which was right off the exit, i didnt know i have to renew my registration last month! So he let me slide, and i was ecstatic, no written warning or written up ticket!!!!
but then exactly one week later, 2 minutes on the high way going speed limit 55, i got pulled over by another statey for what....? NOTHING! My registration was renewed, i went 55 speed limit, had my license, my seatbelt was on.... but my Plates were on the window instead of my bumper, well hello my car just got painted, I didnt have the string attached yet, he stereo type the honda, im an asian girl, and he stated to me, i know its "NOT COOL" to have plates in the front, but you have to, so im giving you a citation, im like what?! dont matter, i got a 35 bucks ticket. wtf? for being innocent.
I mean i understand if i get towed and charged the 1st time but this cop was an ass, the 2nd cop gave me a ****en ticket for nothing, plus he dated it 7/1 and i got pulled over today at 850am 7/2!
I am fighting this ticket. what do you guys think?

1st cop: was having a good day
2nd: had his panties in a bunch for pulling you over for not having the plate on the bumper. you can TRY to fight it, but idk if its worth the hassle. i mean how recently did you get the car painted?

Its been a month but his judgment is impaired and he was just trying to not look like a jack ass
he placed the date 7/1 instead of 7/2, proves right there, he JUST WOKE UP and must have not had his coffee and donuts yet.
i mean if i dont fight it and pay for it, wont it go against my insurance?
I dont want my insurance to go up, ive been so good for 2 years, and my step was at 25 yay high. =/
i just think its unreasonable u know?
ive honestly never had my insurance go up very much from a ticket. i had a 67 in a 45. my insurance went up 10 bucks a month. and in 6 months it went back down. so for something stupid like that... it wont even go up. thats not even a point on your license i dont think.

i guess its the point of giving in and paying a pig something that i dont feel or BELIEVED that i deserved it

yea you only get points for moving violations.
but not for something as stupid as not having a front plate.
i got a ticket couple years ago in my old accord for not having the plate on the bumper (it was in the windsheild for the same reason as yours) but insurance wasn't affected

Shouldn't affect your insurance at all. You might be able to get away with fighting it through mail and receits. Send them a copy of the paint job, and a quick reason why your fighting the ticket. For something as simple as that it should get dismissed.

Even though you don't deserve the ticket....
This might work. BUT: You gotta remember the cop's word is ALWAYS taken over yours. The judge will think you are tryin to get out of it. I'm in NO WAY sticking up for the pig at all.
It sux that you just happened to be the one to get a small ticket for no front plate. (bull$#!t)
From past experiences, fighting in court is still more expensive. If you goto court twice to appeal something, you still have to pay court costs each time you go. $50 + $50 + $35 = more than the original ticket.
I dunno...It's your call. I would just pay the fine and be glad it wasn't more expensive.

If your found guilty then you would have to pay court costs if the ticket gets dismissed your scott-free.
I actually went to court for a Stop Sign that I ate while I was driving around in NY. I was completely guilty of it and still went to court. The cop ended up screwing up his story and the judge dismissed the ticket.
Sometimes putting the effort into it works out.

By the way, you should never say it sux to be what you are! Even if you drive a Honda. What if you were german and drove a Volkswagen? LOL!
I don't think that is a stereotype. I think its more the car than you.
You would think they would watch drunk drivers or people on cell phones more. Seems like these people do the most damage and deaths.
