On most honda's, I think that the biggest you can go, without looking tacky, is 16". But, on a Lude, I think that 17 or even 18" wheels look decent if they are the right style and color. Bronze/Gold rims always look sexy on a red Lude.

ill agree, but i think 18's r a little to much. i think biggest you can go with a prelude is 17' they are the perfect size.

also bigger wheels, means more weight. resulting in a heavier car making it slower! so its good to find an even balance between weight and size.

I meant that you can get away with have 17 or 18'' wheels. Personally, I prefer 16's. Not too heavy, not too small.

with 16's you also have more tire options.

I'm going to have to agree with you, however I'd say that 17's even look to big on some ludes, however 18's are certainly way to big unless you have a body kit to balance it out (bear in mind that I am in no way condoning the use of body kits :p ).

i'd say 17's are perfect for looks, but i have to agree that the weight difference is a downer. i need to get some light weight 17's. see what you guys just did?

i say go with whatever fits over your breaks +1

I run 15 te37's on my miata with a 205/50 tire and i love it.

I wouldnt go over 16" on a lude.

i like smaller rims with thicker sidewalls better that dubs with low pros

18" is the biggest you should go on a lude. that's like border line tacky. i lik the look of 17"s on a lude though

I like to ride on 17x7.5 offset 40

They fit perfectly and i have apsolutly no rubbing. I never cut and edited my fenders and quarter panels in any way. I like to do alot of road races so if i ever have a problem with them they would have been off.

On of my friends have 18" on his prelude slammed to the ground. It looks awesome but he has alittle rubbing problem.

II've had 19s on mine and they were huge. I think if your going with a body kit 18s and up are good but for racing 17s and lower

oh and Ive seen 20s on a 94 accord that wasn't lowered so if you wanted to be a baller you could use 20s lmfao.

17s ideal, no bigger, could pass with 16s. anything smaller and you get too much sidewall and risk ripping the rubber off the rim with really sharp turns.

no you should be fine..

I say no bigger than 17 but i personally like 16 on the lude with a bigger tire to fill with well

Im not sure what to think I have 18s that im putting on after the paint job I think it will look good...its more about what rim you have and what you like that makes the car look good, but I can see where alot of you are coming from.
