So that was in Valdosta, GA. I talked to one of my friends that does SCCA down there and his buddy was next in line. The guy had on the wrong size lug nuts and got out of the car with tears after that.

Drew

how do you have the wrong size lugs?????/ wouldnt you just feel the wheels vibrating the car to hell.. obviously the wrong sized lugs wont keep the rim tight.. right???/

Si Speed
06-21-2007, 05:10 PM
Right. That guy needs to gimme the keys to that car. I'll take care of it and make sweet love to it every night.

It's sad that the idiot doesn't have more sense than to put the right lug nuts on a car like that.

daaaaaaaaaang!!! thats gotta SUCK!.. i had one wheel fall of one night i was driving my dads 89 Suburban and the rear driverside wheel came off!.. i loved that big a** tank! i miss it too!

Si Speed
08-17-2007, 02:34 PM
I had it happen on a go-kart. The wheel actually broke. The center piece was still on the go-kart and the tire and the rest of the wheel went rolling into the woods. This made for some awesome donuts since I couldn't drive it back under the shed.

Idda been as pissed as the guy in the RX7 in your other vid. Sting Rays are classics, and genuine ones are hard to come by, especially in mint condition.

Yeah being an RX 7 owner once myself, I felt sick when I saw that I thought sabotage first myself then I read the idiots idea of using the wrong lugs. Man take him out back and shoot him, j/K

Just another reason to suspect that he is really stupid. Well I don't know on a steep enough hill it might roll away on the rotors. :silly:

ummm NO!

You know would have made it even better if the air bags deployed

Damn! That right there is the reason I didn't put no aftermarket rims on my GTO. I'll be damned it the Lugs didn't hold and that happened... GROWN MEN CAN CRY... MY heart sunk when I saw that...

DAMN... just damn.

thats happened to me on my first 3rd gen i bought.. i was doing 110mph down the motorway and suddenly i felt loads of vibration in my steering wheel.. as i started to pull over my front passenger wheel suddenly came off.. i realised the guy i bought the car off put alloys on with standard wheel bolts and they snapped whilst overheating...had to change the entire leg.

Damn. I love me those little rotary tragedies... They were boasted as the perfect grip car by sportcompactcar ( I have the article laying around somewhere...) 1.12 lateral g's or some ridiculously high score... but those rotaries are finnickey. Make sure Elliot Don't see no more videos like that... He'll go green on us and start turning over tables and Zhit.
