Has anyone delt with Gude Performance before? There are no prices on their website but i did find a throttle body for our cars on MatrixRacing.com listing at around $250 bucks. They have a lot of other stuff listed on their site as well http://www.gude.com/catalog/cat_prelude.html#Select%20Product tell me what ya think?

GUDE has been around, trustworthy company.
BUT...wtf is a b21a5??
I'm having a lot of trouble believing this statement from Gude:
DESCRIPTION:
Awesome torque from 5000 R.P.M. to redline.
POWER BAND:
5000 R.P.M. to 8600 R.P.M.
up to 8600 RPM? do they think this is a b16??

I had the same exact reaction! Don't our cars blow up past 7000? If so that would be completely worthless!:hmmmm2:

Gude has been known for selling terrible products for our cars. People have seen only about a 5whp gain from a head package from them. Not worth the money in my eyes.

I had the gude head pack on my h23 and it put it right at 200whp and a guy here in my town just out the gude pack on his h22 and it put down 238. So I don know If I can see it only making 5hp any way

H22's and B20A's are too different engines. making 200whp on a full head package on a H22 is total crap. Why? Um getting a proper intake, header and exhaust plus a tune will get you around 180-200whp on a H22.... Now you tell me if that is justice....
You have a lot to learn about Prelude motors young one.
The B20A and B21 aren't high revving engines at all. With a power band that only reaches about 5800-6200rpm and a limited 7200rpm limit, we're stuck. Especially with high lift cams. Being as the Gude head package does a very very mild bore on the B20/21 manifold.... it's of no help. As our engines are extremely restrictive.
You're better off doing the work elsewhere.
Their P&P work is decent. That's about all I'd get from them. Even though we have the same intake and exhuast valve sizes as a Type R B18C (yeah I know but, I like to brag ) the valve stem is huge compared. I'd get different retainers, valves maybe inlarge the exhaust valves... keep the stock valvetrain or go with H22 springs and retainers, do a savage bore job on the intake manifold, bore out the stock TB to it's maximum point (61mm which is still very small for us anyway) port match, DC sport header or chikara with a larger collector (2.5" would be just fine) full 2.5" exhuast, B18B intake cam and B21 exhaust cam, some nice B16 pistons or Type R pistons and a nice tune.... you could easily see about 170-190whp with this setup... And if you do all the work except the machine work yourself you'll save a ton of money.

I apreciate all of the great reply's. I still have a re-sleeve project underway and then its going boost. I am gonna do this to another b21 block and keep my non-oil burning motor safe, But I think im gonna try and find a 90-91 4ws to do a nice N/A build. Thanks again for all of your efforts.
