Some words from Brian:
I bought the car about 2 years ago, trying to fulfill a childhood infatuation. When I was 10 or 11 years old, my cousin went to the Honda dealership to purchase a Civic. While there, I was drooling over a white Prelude Si ALB model. I sat in it. It was completly what i imagined what a sports car felt like. Ever since then, an image was burned into my head. That image was the super sleek, Ferrari`esque lines of the Prelude.
All throughout Junior HS and HS, i only wanted 1 car, which was a 3g Prelude. I finally had my chance at one when i was 15 years old. I had saved enough money(half) to buy a used 91 Si. My father went to take a look at it, payed a deposit and came back changing his mind that the car had way too many miles. It was catastrophic. I was heart broken.
-Fast foward 10 somewhat years and many other Hondas, I run into a red 1990 Si my barber was selling. Apparently it had been sitting in his backyard for over the harsh winter. One day i drove by it and made my mind on the spot. That red Prelude had to be mine!!
Since my purchase, i have not only poured my heart & soul into this car, but i have joined a very tight car community. The Honda Prelude community. I have made a lot of friends both locally and far because of this car.
That is best thing about owning a Prelude.
I just want to say thank you all for voting me June's ROTM. We will all keep Luding 'till we die!!!
