has anyone droped there 2nd gen and what all did you have to do? for some reason i dont think that just coil overs alone are going to do it...what about camber adjustment i dont want to go threw tires every month lol. i want to drop it 2 inches....
for all who run coil overs whats all involved in putting them on...any modification you have to do? is it just a drop in kinda part?
i want to drop it right and need some advise as how to go about it..thanks

i dont know how many parts are actually available for 2nd gen ludes, those are pretty rare (well, rarer than all other ludes)
but if you do happen to find a set of coilovers, its a pretty straight forward deal to install them: 3 nuts holding the spring hat to the shock tower
one bolt holding the strut to the shock fork
one bolt holding the fork to the LCA
unbolt the brake line from the shock
MIGHT need to unbolt the UCA to give more room to manuever the whole shock assembly out of the car, and directly replace it with the coilover assembly.
(at least, thats how it is for a 4th gen)
coilovers OR a spring and shock combo should be all you need to lower the car correctly.
i'm lowered 2.25" and need no such camber kit. just get your car aligned after you do ANY sort of suspension work whatsoever so they can realign the toe, which is a more common problem of eating thru tires; moreso than camber.

ok cool...i just wanted to make sure i didnt need to purchase a camber kit of any sorts....seems all the coil overs i find for my car are really really friggin cheap kinda makes me scared cause i dont want to buy crap...does $140 sound about a going rate for just a coil over kit?

hahahahha, no. those are cheap coilover sleeves. you CAN get them if you really wanted, but they'll ride like ass cuz the spring rates aren't correct and ish, cuz they're cheap.
a DECENT set of coilovers run around $800, which D2's run for, while the ever-so-famous tiens run around $1200.
