Hey, I am tired of hearing everybody saying what ipod adapter is best. I had alot of trouble figuring out which type of car adapter I should get in my vehicle too. I tried the FM transmitters and couldnt stand it. Static and all, blah! So I found this site that does reviews of differnt ipod connection kits and it helped me find the right one for my car, check it out on ipodcarkits site. I ended up going to one of the manufacturers and getting the piece that worked with my car and love it. There needs to be more review sites like this...
Tell me what type of adapter you have in your car and how well it works. Lets settle this once and for all.

pioneer 6950i is neat
**** those FM transmitters. if you dont want to swap out your radio, get an FM modulator. the IPOD plugs into the modulator and the modulator plugs into the antenna input on your radio. and the antenna plugs into the FM modulator. and there is an ON/OFF switch which cuts the incoming signal from your antenna. it does not transmit it through the air to your radio. its a direct connection and you never get static. the only thing i get from time to time is the whine. but its not even audible unless there is no music playing like between songs. these are generally cheaper then a whole new radio. so if you want to go that route this could be one of your options.
