cruise control

hey guys

i just bought a 89 lude and theres lot wrong with it...

i can deal with most of it, (like the horn not working)
but id really like my cruise control to work

the fuse is good but the CC light doesnt turn on and the system doesnt work

where do i start?

does your speedo work? if your speedo works then check your vacuume line that is running from the IM to the CC module, because mine got pinched one time and the cruise wouldn't work and my cruise didn't work when my speedo went out

yeah my spedo works fine...
but my tach bounces. its weird.
anyways, wahts IM short for?
and yeah ill check to see if a vacuum line is pinched, but still, my CC light doesnt even come on. s there any electrical to it that im missing. speaking of missing, i might be missing hoses completely. i just got it so i dont know what to look for on my CC.

Check the switch in the steering wheel. Sometimes the plastic inside cracks.
