MY PRELUDE DIES

Last Thursday I was headed to work when all of a sudden.. .BAM... A Truck nails my car. It was operated by a drunk driver. My baby strived to stay alive... still pumping ever bit of spark that it had... Still turning the turbo .... But it was to bad... MY CAR WAS TOTALED...

I cant believe thats how the legendary Prelude of New Orleans goes.. I though i would mess it up.. but It ended by someone else that never seen the car before. I wanted to cry... But i just took it and said.. You truly will be missed.

Truly one of the fastest of its kind. Highly respected... Anyone who heard about it did not dare to rev their engines... It was truly a Amazing Machine.

I was actually ok. Just a few burns from the air bag brazing my arms. The Bag didnt hit my face. ( Thank god ) I had a girl in my car. " Victoria " she was hurt kinda badly. Air bag hit her pretty good. Along with some burns to the arm also. She has some neck pain. Nothnig to serious. All our burns are healed now.

Believe it are not.. The Accident is not that bad at all. I kinda cant believe it was totaled out. It was totaled because of the air bag system. it cost way to much. Anyway. Buy back will be sweet for anymore who wants a Built Motor turbo and teins. lol

Man.. i just finish striping the car of its goods.... Man i must say... its so hard to see it go.

I got so much Time in that car... I got into so many fights with my girlfriends over this car. They felt like the car was more important them Them.. ( maybe... Maybe... ) But yea.. so hard.. now i get to start from scratch again.. kinda sucks..

thats a damn shame. that was such a beautiful car. but it will always live on in the inspiration it has given others.
i hate drunk drivers. to any of you out there who think you can manage to sneak home after a night at the bar. dont. and if thinking of the people you may kill isn't enough please think of all the poor cars that were just doing what they were told, going where they had to. it's just not fair.
i see it all the time i work in EMS. one of the first wreaks i went to was a pair of kids in a 4th gen. they were ****ed up so bad we couldn't tell if they were male or female. and i didn't recognise the car untill after the 2 patients were flown out and i was walking around the scene. i looked at the edge of the woods and saw a wheel and went "no friggin way" i looked closer at the car and sure enough it was a 4th gen vtec. they look a little different on their roof and smashed to ****. cops estimated they were doing 140 when they flipped. but hurrah for honda, we found them both in the car and they were both technically alive. more than i can say about ford wreaks.

man sorry to hear rory. but glad you're okay. i was in a similar situation once. got into a fender bender that wasn't bad at all, but air bags went off. insurance wanted to total the car because of the cost of replacing the air bags. told my buddy who ran the body shop that i didn't want the car totalled. i don't know how he did it, but he did it.

It was hit head on. Everythig in the front is gone.. .Intercooler.. headlights bumper, condensor, radiator support, bumper support, air bags, air bag sensors, fenders, hood, radiator/AC fans.

I was going to buy it back.. but then they told me 3500 to buy it back.. I was like.. NAwSSS...

Anyway. I got a spare Built Block.

Sleeved.. CP Pistons, Crowder Rods, and Polished Crank. If anybody wants to run more boost.. give me a holla.

i think im gunna cry, that was the best prelude i have ever seen, i have one of the pics of it on my desktop background, the one where its sittin infront of )i guess your house) and its so nice, that really really sucks man, hope you get a lot of money back for it and that the driver looses his license forever
