I'm in Dallas. :D I actually flew to San Antonio this past Thursday for business. My 2000 lude was still in Dallas tho...

I'm going to a wedding this coming weekend at the Frio river which is about an hour or so west of San Ant. I'm all excited.... everybodies got cabins on the river. We're gonna get all drunk & go tubin!!! I can't wait.

U can find find me and my 4th gen cruising around the northeast area of san antonio. I've got the WW lip kit, CF hood, HIDs, Yellow Foglights, and Volk GT-P's. I found another Lude same color as mine and same lip kit near Blanco somewhere.

151 is on the SW side, which is liek totally opposite me, a good hours drive :(. I say we meet somewhere central, like say the quarry! There's a chingana load of ricers rolling around there on the weekends though, so how about thursday or somethin? oh btw there is a car meet every thursday night at bun n barrel off of austin highway, I went to one and there was about 50 cars I estimate, ranging from supras, scions, , cameros, hondas, mitsus bla blah.. meet up there if u want, hard to find parking if you get there after 8 though

Im in as long as the location is decided on. I think the Chilis on Frontage Rd. near I-10 and Woodstone would be a good spot. It's got an excellent view over the west end of town for a good photo shoot. I've got a nice 6mp digi-cam that I could get some shots of all of us.

After a long talk with all my friends and alot of depressing thoughts, I came to my senses, my prelude is a rare beauty. S2000's are overrated. I've decided to go ALL OUT on my car, I'm going S2000 blue paint and molding the kit on, it will be the nicest 4th gen eva! muhahahahaha! Someone offered to trade for a 5th gen, but nope. 4th Gen is the best! I'm gonna add the jdm climate controls, and hmmmm... some insanely out of the ordinary mod that I don't even know what its gonna be yet. :) 4th gen Prelude 4 life yo!

yeah we already had the meet, there were like 5 preludes, three fourth gens and two 5th gens. Not to brag but I think mine stole the show. In anycase though I'm selling it, so buy some parts off me!

Look tony, i understand that you have a nice ride, i gota hand it to you, the reason we did this meet in the first place was to only meet surrounding luders, i thought the meet was bad ass considering all the new peeps we met. custome fab is awesome but everyone has other stuff goin on, yes i Have EBAY projectors and thas not gonna change, if everyone went out there with the same stuff that would be pretty damn boring, just sayin man everyone has their own taste in cars and i thought that every lude that went out there deserves their props for just showin up... to each their own!!! Everyone works on their lude at their pace, dont get mad at this man, just sayin if your gonna put in your 2 cents then im gonna put in mine.

I'm not mad, I'm just tryin to figure out what to do next to my car. I need some ideas. Turbo and supercharger are out of the question. I'm really just interested in saving gas and making my drives more comfortable, ie a quiet rsr exhaust, HID retrofits to see the road better, dynamat, and just some stuff to make the car look better. I'm in conflict with myself about lowering the car though, I love th way the car looks low, but I the ride comfort is severely cut and I can barely make it over most speed bumps.

I ride my bike around now so I don't need a gas guzzler car anymore.

I am very interested in the vafc2 and the sound system in particular. I already have a header, full exhaust, intake, injectors, springs, and shocks. However, I'm also looking for new springs that aren't quite so low in the front... my car has a significant forward rake.

Pioneer DEH 7700 MP animated mp3 player $120.
Rockford Fosgate 400 watt 2 channel amp $50.
Sony Xplode 500 watt 2 channel amp $50.
dual infinity reference series 10" subs with box that fits perfectly in a 4th gen prelude $100.
Polk Audio Component speakers $90.

I also have Ground control Coilovers that you can use to make your car any height u desire for $300.

They work best with a good pair of shocks which I can also sell for another $300, I have Tokico Illumina Adjustable shocks. The only other shock I would recommend using with these coilovers is Koni yellow shocks, but u would have to order different ground control adapters to fit the konis.

Also, what is the "Boomslang PnP harness" for the VAFC2? Is it needed? Sorry I just got my 'lude 2 months ago and don't know much about the VAFC2 or how to install it etc... I glanced over the thread on it but that's about it.

Would Tein adjustable shocks work well with your coilovers?

Polk DB6501 300Watt Speakers 6.5" with separate 1" silk/polymer tweeters. They also come with cross overs.

The VAFC2 is easy to install with the Boomslang harness, all you do is plug the harness into the ECU, then the original ecu wires plug into the back of the harness and Blamo its done. FYI I paid $150 for the Harness alone, so it's a good deal. No wire splicing at all, u can easily install and remove it without any problems.

2 speakers with tweeters. I highly suggest you buy the amplifier to go along with it. the most watts any head-unit puts out these days is 25watts RMS per speaker. the rockord fosgate shoots out 150watts RMS the each speaker which is a little over what u need to get optimal quality on the compnent speakers 90 watt woofers and 50watt tweeters so 140 watts is what should get.
