First Car Gen 3 Si Auto???

Hey, Im new to these forums and driving also. Im looking for my first car, I have found a nice 3rd gen lude for $2800Au which I believe i could get down to $2000 easily. This is very very cheap for a gen3 si in South Australia and im looking for your opinions.

Now, its a little rough around the edges, slight rust (doesnt bother me) otherwise exterior is ok. Interior dash has a small crack and otherwise its pretty good cond. The main thing now, I was to stupid to look, does an auto si have some sort of sports gear???? also I did take it for a test drive and it drove very well other than when it changed gears its sorta jerked a little bit. I know this is normal in many cars, It doesnt bother me at all, I was just wondering if it is standard in gen3's????

Well, nice pickup.
Auto trannies with age will shift rough. That's with every car that is 17+ year old car :rolleyes:
if it's that rough, maybe you want to check it out.

I'm sure your auto has an "S" mode:

Thanks, good to know it should have a sports mode, it isnt that rough changing gears, I wasnt sure if it was something that maybe could go wrong, I had a mechanic look at the car, he said that if I get it serviced its going to run very smooth and its an absolute steal at the price.

Im gonna buy it Wooooo.
