My Baby was hit....

This Sucks! I was pulling out of a road onto the highway here in my hometown. Well like most intersections, theres a stop sign which I'm sitting at waiting for a line of cars to pass. As soon as they do I've got space to pull out into traffic. Well I get out into the road then all of a sudden I hear a horn blow and this guy cuts over infront of my. His rear bumper catches my driverside fender, bumper cover, corner light (which is ripped off and shattered), pushes my headlight over, killing my grille insert (AKA: nostril).

We pull over and the guy starts acting like it's my fault. I told him if he had used a turning signal and had not been in such a big hurry to go nowhere that it wouldn't have happened. The cop arrives and says he's not going to issue a citation. This upsets me even more b/c the guy made an illegal lane change after I had already pulled into traffic. The cop tells me if anyone should get a ticket it should be me for failure to yield...FAILURE TO YIELD, I was stopped waiting for an opening and took it before the other guy had even started over. And how was I to know that he was going to come into my lane he wasn't using a turning signal. So big reminder folks: USE YOUR TURNING SIGNALS WHEN CHANGING LANES AND MAKING TURNS AT INTERSECTIONS!!!!!!

man, it really sucks that the 5-0 hates the whole tuner scene. "HATE CRIME"? What, was he black?

And yes, USE YOUR TURN SIGNAL WHEN CHANGING LANES (and watch out for soccer moms in speeding minivans late for their tennis match :tongue:)

Yes the guy that hit me was black and I'm a young(23) white male with a goatee and styled (kinda ****ey) hair, with a visible (at the time) tattoo on my wrist. As soon as I get my cameral up and running again I'll take some pics.

PS: The soccer mom was infront of me and didn't go at the light and I was reading a map!

No the hood is aligned correctly except the part right there at the fender above where the cornerlight and head light are is bent down just a little. My dad has worked in and out of body shops as long as I can remember and I've been helping him with that and under the hood of cars as long as I could hold a wrench and not be in his way. We took an estimate and think we can fix it cheaper than my deductible so I won't have my insurance go up, even though the official estimate from a body shop up the street is over 2 large! It'll get fixed I just hope that when it's out of commision getting worked on the weather is pretty enough to ride my motorcycle.

I didn't believe it until I bought my lude, but it is indeed a crime to drive a Honda...

At least we get the right of way from civics and integras...
