LUDENYC dyno....

yesterday instead of the pa meet ... me and ludenyc from TEAM LSD had done some upgrades / bolt ons to his lude. just wanted to share the results. dyno tune at NO LIMIT motorsports by rob.

stock atts 5spd transmission

mods:
VAFC2
tune up all honda ngk plugs wires are crappy.
aem fuel rail and regulator bumped to 45psi on stock injectors.
aem sri
aem pulleys
hks ground kit
dc headers
netami twin loop exhaust (mugen replica)
cat is hollowed out

then night before we had added the rail and regulator. also had put the newer valve cover on w/ new gaskets. the plug to the vtec spooler valve had messed up so the first pull on the dyno vtec cut out at 6400 and only made 110 hp LOL. problem was fixed and wwwheeeew thank god the numbers actually changed drastically. when it was fixed he hit 155hp. so vtec actually make 45 hp difference. the first tuned run made 162hp and then the last tuned run 178.3hp w/ 150lbs torque vtec cross over has been set 4600rpm.

Did you bump up the PSI in the fuel regulator?
that VAFC should squeeze some more power...

the regulator was bumped up. but since he is running stock injectors and daily driven i dunno if we should push them too hard.
and yea there is a dip right before tuned vtec crossover at 4600.... i think possibly that no cat caused no backpressure which kinda left in a slump before vtec killing his mid rpms.
cost is 150- plus 100- each additional hour. ludennyc has said the motor feels smooth and throttle response is alittle better too.

i dunno if i agree w/ the lower vtec crossover ... i think it should be pushed back... more oil pressure harder vtec, but thats just me.
