Ok, I was refered from my typical site, to honda tech, to you guys....I hope you can gimmy an answer.
I have a 85 CRX, and am in the "slow" process of doing a swap. I started looking at motors, and found a 1990, B20A5 real cheap. Not blown, but in need of rebuild. So I start picking up the parts and I with help from another forums members realze the B20A5 uses different mounting points than a typical B series motor. Long story short, Hasport makes the mounts I am going to use and they are designed for a typical B series motor.... and I have been informed, the parts will not work together.
SO..... I have the entire top end from the B20A5 all ready. Picked and paid. So, "my question" Will the P-K2 head work on any other block?
Because it sounds like the B20A5 block will not fit in my CRX with out alot of work and custom mounts....and then no one knows because no one knows anyone who has done it. I am all about rebuilding a motor, and maybe welding up a few things.... but, this sounds like a WHOLE lot of work.... 'IF" it will work.
lol, if not, I got a disassembled PK2 head for sale.... :) everythings straight, comes with distro, cover, and all the nuts and bolts....
