this is an easier alternate to pulling back your passenger carpet and watching the ECU.

1.open your hood and locate a yellow cap on the passenger side corner by the fire wall.

2. pull that thing out away from the fire wall and remove the cap

http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/1451/img2726vo2.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
3. take a paper clip and make a u shape out of it

http://img361.imageshack.us/img361/6849/img2728vj9.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
4. stick the each end of the paper clip into each of the 2 terminals

5. now you get into the car and turn the key on but don't crank it, and you check engine light will flash the code out... long flashes are 10 and short blinks are 1
Example: 4 long flashes and 1 quick blink means you have a code 41 which is oxygen sensor

heres the codes i copyed them off of www.prelude3g.com

'88-'90 PGM-CARB

Code 1 Oxygen content
Code 2 Vehicle speed pulser
Code 3 MAP sensor, electrical signal
Code 4 Vacuum switch signal
Code 5 MAP sensor, vacuum signal
Code 6 Coolant temperature
Code 7 Clutch switch signal (manual trans.)
Code 7 Shift position signal (auto trans.)
Code 8 Ignition coil signal
Code 9 Intake air temperature
Code 10 Electronic Air Control Valve (EACV)

'90-'91 PGM-FI

Code 0 ECU
Code 1 Oxygen content A *, Oxygen content **
Code 2 Oxygen Content B
Code 3 MAP sensor
Code 4 Crank angle sensor
Code 5 MAP sensor
Code 6 Coolant temperature
Code 7 Throttle position sensor
Code 8 TDC position sensor
Code 9 No.1 cylinder position sensor
Code 10 Intake air temperature sensor
Code 11
Code 12 Exhaust gas recirculation system
Code 13 Atmospheric pressure sensor
Code 14 Electronic air control
Code 15 Ignition output signal
Code 16 Fuel injector
Code 17 Vehicle speed sensor
Code 41 ** Oxygen sensor heater
Code 43 ** Fuel supply system

* 2.0 liter engines
** 2.1 liter engines

Sorry the engine bay is soo dirty but one of the tubes on thatchicara header is compleatly broken in half, so the IM and everything is black due to all the carbon from the exhaust
