That is a topic that is always in hot debate.

Does my V2 sound awesome? Yes it does.
Does it make more power then an ebay intake? Probably not.
Does it look radical? Yeah you know it.
Do a lot of people see under my hood? Not a chance.

If you have $300 to throw around go for it. But just know you are paying for the name not the product. (Coming from a V2 owner.)

The V2 never really took off. If you want a name brand, they are a pretty good one.

I picked a used short ram AEM for spare in rainy weather for $50 shipped.

Check ebay for deals on AEM. The plus with better brand is the better filter. But you can always buy a K&N seperately and kept a cheap tubing.

I went with ICEMAN not because of the brand, but because it "might" be the coolest running intake for the Phoenix heat I live in. But don't know for sure.

The best intake for a 5th gen is probably the short ram+BPi flow stack+K&N Filter RF-1048.

I'll take an Injen if I'm gonna get something namebrand. Otherwise, I'm happy with my ebay intake.

unless someone posts dyno results for the same car with all these different products, all these posts are nothing more than opinion. buy what you like, not what the general consensus tells you is cool.
