I just took out my alpine unite and put my stock one back in and the code thing came up. I have a 2000 but i don't know the code :ugh: how can i get that code?

Check in your owners manual there should be a little wallet card in there with the code.

Without the code, the unit will never work.
...you can try Honda, but i think they will give you the run-around thinking it's a stolen unit. Doesn't hurt to try.
Good luck...why did you remove your Alpine for the stock unit?

yeah....when i bought it, it didn't come with a manual so i had to buy one off ebay.
Without the code, the unit will never work.

that's what i was afraid of and yeah...i am going to go to the dealership in the morning. i took out my Alpine because i'm selling my car and i'm going to use the alpine unit in my new truck.

well all i did was go to the local dealership and just gave them the serial number to it and they looked it up and told me.

even tho it's already been taken care of, you can normally find the 5 digit security code on a sticker in various places. mine was on the under side of my ash tray/coin holder thing in the console. Some people have it on the left hand side (outside) of their glove compartment, or on the top left inside of the glove compartmant. I bought my car used and the guy didn't have the code...
