My sunroof squeeks like a bastared while i'm driving down the road. to the point where i'm willing to open it when it's cold just to make it stop. anyone else have this proble or know any tricks to fix it. i heard it's a common problem w/ 5th gens (just the way the body flexes).

put white lithium grease in the track of the sunroof.

oh, my bad, not squeeaking when you open it, when its closed?

take the headliner off and and tape down the wires that go to it, see if that helps. theres a tsp on it

interesting, it seems like the sound is from the seal rubbing against the roof of the car. i don't see any wear marks though. (only happens when it completely closed.) i have to tap the open button to open it like a milimeter to make it stop.

I put some some graphite grease on my rubber seal (4th gen) and it made a big mess so I cleaned it up the best I could and no more noise.
