x2, specially with the NAWWWWWZZZZZ
if the body and suspension are in good/excellent condition, than its a good deal. WHEN the motor eventually does crap out, you can have another H22 dropped in for... 2.5K(??)
so there's a low mileage (motor) good conidtion lude for 5.5K

If your friend raced with his car as you say, "speed demon," and with that many miles on the Lude and for $3000. i say that Lude is suspect.
We have a few Ludes for sale on the board, take your time and make a right decision on a car so later on you wont regret it.

I'd look for something else with less miles personally.

As long as everything is is on good shape, I'd get it but only if I had the money for the motor or the motor itself to get swapped in. That motor is probably gonna crap before too long.
