here is a pc of under my moms hood, it is in progress, and YES it is a real aem cai, i removed it, cleaned it, stripped it, and painted it high heat 1200 degree paint. I also put a aem decal on it, it's purple but mom likes it, and she can have it however she wants it, i just do all my stuff how i want it and soon her valve cover will be plum purple as well.

what car does your mom have?

the black prelude, it's not pictured, mostly everyone knows "mean and green" but i usually dont post up pics of moms car. its a black 96 srv just like mine except i have black/tan leather and she has full black interior.

Hey, i like your power wire, I ran mine the same way and it looks like we even have the exact same blue wire. anyway, it looks good, check out my pic on page 1 and look at my power wire.

Brings back memories of my old B20A3, may she rest in peace.

Actually I put a big dent in the valve cover with a steel pipe after I pulled it out of my car. Damn that felt good :D

Pics of my new B20A5 coming soon!

They do look similar, but at least the alternator on the B20A3 is in plain view! Mine is buried deep in there. =(

65pretty basic, my newly painted valve cover:banana: EDIT: sorry the valve cover looks pinkish, it's just from the flash, it's a darker red in person and also thanks to Sleepyh22 for the writeup on painting valve covers, It was easy to do and turned out great.

use some brake cleaner under your hood on your head block tranny, etc, it'll look alot better IMO

brake cleaner eats spray paint, though. So depending on what kind of paint was used for the valve cover, it may not be a great idea. I ruined part of my old S valve cover with some carb cleaner.

damn, there are some sexy engine bays on here.... here's mine. nothing special, no mods, just the painted valve cover and spark plug cover and heat shield removed.
