1 word.....mods

start with minor mods. i/e/h, vafc, plugs & wires, weight reduction and things like that. dont just get the car and turbo right away. research first then decide whether you want to turbo or go all motor.

#1: Price, Reliability, Fast. you can only have 2!

#2: RESEARCH. before you spend any money on mods, make sure you figure out what you wanna do with the car. N/A or turbo. if you jump the gun and buy I/H/E vafc and plugs and wires, mostly all of that is useless if you later decide you wanna boost down the road.

#3: if you really wanna drop some $$ into it right now, invest in a good suspension. this will wake the car up dramatically and should hold you over til you decide what you wanna do motor-wise.

The first statement is very true.
I can't preach research enough. I'm planning a N/A build (Top secret ) and am just saving money until I have it all in stone what I'm doing. The more you know about what you're doing, the better of you'll be. Researching boost, nitrous, and n/a all together will help you choose your preference. As for me, I've chosen N/A is my route.
Since it's a Prelude, honestly, it handles good enough. I say just save your money until you ecide what to do with the engine. When you're done with the engine, then do cosmetics or other things like suspension.

uhuhh no 18 loose handling stick with 17's highest in my opinion. our cars have great handling especially Sh models after 16 inch's you lose some handling.

Dont put in a heavy system our cars are already known for being heavy why add weight i say change stock speakers, add an amp and maybe a box in the back at the most dont over do it. just my opinion but hey goodluck on what ever you choose to do.

well me hmmm i had a turbo prelude 2000.There is pic of it somewhere. But i blow up my engine than i bought me jdm motor for prelude 92-96. and the motor did not work to much sensors and stuff so i just had to send my motor of and get the one for prelude 2000. So now i am waiting for it. I am thinking about just keeping it stock get some leather seats and keep it clean and have a car that i can depend on. Because now is illegeal to do all the racing there are cops everywhere and to me is waist of money if u dont have lots of it like me. I am selling me turbo kit. i post it on for sale form

i couldntve put it better myself than SI put it.. that sux polaco srry to hear the losses. but yea research is so essential, beyond intake/header/exhaust, cam mods do a swell job of boosting hp id say.. just that when u get cams, gotta get cam gears and valve springs and retainers and the $ starts to add up...

if you want it to be faster, DONT get 18's. or even 17's for that matter. too big and heavy. get some lightweight 16's with some sticky rubbers and you'll fall in love with your car all over again.
do you want your car to look good, or go fast? cuz you hafta sacrafice one for the other.

as for a system... 1 10" or 12" should be more than sufficient for our cars. i had 2 12's awhile ago and it was fukcin overkill. i thought i was "cool' cuz i had 2 12's, but the truth of the matter is they sounded horrible.
