i use a regular razors but i wouldn't suggest doing that unless you really trust yourself not to scratch the paint

Just peel them off
And if there is any sticky residue left on the paint, use some goo gone to remove it. Then wash the car.
3M Makes a wheel that you can put on the drill and it will remove the pinstripe and glue without messing with the paint.

Or you could use a heat gun and some paint thinner.

I work at a detail shop of a car dealer, and i would use a heat gun and a plastic razor. Then when its all off use some spotter (adhesive remover) to get it off. And if it is a real pain in the ass use laqure thinner. i use it on new cars all the time dose not harm paint.

I used a credit card on my buddys integra, and the glue that was left some wd/40 and some alcohol and some rubbing fixed it up, then a nice wax to take off the oxidized paint around it, looks clean now.

You can get plastic razors at any car quest, or most autozones they are in the paint section.

just use a razor to get the end up and start pulling, took me about 20 minutes to do it all. Just be careful and take your time. As for the residue a little goo gone and then a car wash is all you need.

use a heat gun and just be careful not to keep it on one spot too long.

I removed mine when I got the car, but there is something leftover from underneath it. I know it's not glue because I removed all the glue from it after I took the stripes off. What I'm talking about is almost like there is a very faint painted pinstripe where the original one was. Is is possible that the original pinstrips marred the paint and got etched into it somehow? I can take pics if you want.
EDIT: Also it's not just discoloration of the cars paint, its raised up where the line is above the paint.

yeah, you have to be very careful using a razor. I removed the brown pinstripe from my black 91 SI that I had, and when I got to the back I rushed a little and peeled some of the paint off. It was cold so we used a heater to heat up the part I was removing (bad idea) :(

I have that too, I couldn't figure it out either, it's raised, you can feel it under a fingertip if you just roll over it, it's weird.

Yeah, any detailing place should have a rubber wheel that will take it right off.
