ohhh 5thg en power folding mirrors, expensive and nice. grab sum raing guards to help compliment that lude of yours.


hey B. did you car come with rain guards like the 4th gens and 5th gens?
i think the 4th gens are the only ones that say PRELUDE on them though.

What rain guards? Only thing on my car that says prelude is the mats and the trunk. :mad:

B, I like a lot. Although I have NO USE for them out here where I am, I like that button. I want that button! :biggrin:

Rain guards? like door visors? If that's the case then yes, but mine didnt come with them... they are an option.

If you mean mud gaurds, yes again...though the 2nd gen Prelude had P R E L U D E written on them... :biggrin:

I want a 2nd gen. I want a 3rd gen too but my gf says no, she doesn't like em. I'll get it anyway lol

Ah yes, I remember seeing those folding mirrors before. Cool stuff, maybe when I get some money I"ll invest in some crazy thing like that.

um sure anything is possible with being able to find the parts for it.... your looking at a rare feature that is kinda hard to find.... if you keep your eyes peeled in the strangest place you might find a set... but just dont go telling to many ppl until you buy them.... because they are once again HARD TO FIND!! that and most of us third genners want them...

yeah...Was this originally a (very) rare 3rd gen option or were they from 4th or 5th to make our 3rd gens better? AND..roughly...how much from scrap yard? Does button fit 3rd gen without mods?

Was optional in Japan, and yes very rare. I know two people who have owned JDM third gens at some point that didn't have the power folding mirrors. Good luck finding them at a scrap yard, you'll need it.

It was an option yes, for the 3rd gen Prelude. The button and mirror directional switch is one piece. What you need to get it running straight is: JDM power folding mirrors(of course), relay and switch. The 4th gen and 5th gen buttons are in a different location plus their mirrors are ugly :rolleyes:

They are one Ebay once in a while, keep an eye out!

No aftermarket ones, but if you look really hard you might be able to find a genuine kit.

Yes for a fifth gen. The other alternative might be to search the classifieds of every Prelude board known to man until you find one. That's what I do anytime I want something, and I haven't come up empty handed yet.

Many of them you need to join before being able to see the classifieds. Some you have to join before seeing anything more than the home page.

sucks but if you're lookin for something and find it it's def worth it. might have to try it out. i'm lookin for a polishe Neuspeed front strut tower brace/bar. any leads...?
