Hey guys.


Last week was spring break and my girlfriend and I went up to the City of Hellen. For those that don't know it's up in the North Georgia Mountains. I didn't indend on taking pictures of the lude but the scenery was perfect for photography. These pictures I'm about to post up are not edited. I did not use the flash on anything. I did the best I could in capturing what I saw with my own eyes with my camera and they turned out great. Once again I did not do any editing what so ever. Enjoy.

So Ace, them pics are nice. North Georgia is way nicer looking than south Georgia where I am. Once you get north of ATL, it's really nice, especially up in the Helen area. What'd ya girl say when she finally got to see and ride in it?

Drew I knew what you ment. you thought I would appear to be a little hyper kid lol. But I'm really calm laid back and serious most of the time.

Absntmnd69 my camera is a minolta dimage z2. Excellent in manual mode. Dude! my neck is my spot. I get all googly eyed and loose all chain of thought. So I snap the picture and put the camera down.


Yeah I'm a picture whore. So that means whenever I stumble accross a spot that is perfect you all will get pics. Just get use to it lol :)

The first thing my gf said to me was why does sound like that? (speaking of the idle). I just said baby that's a good thing. She liked the way it drive except for when people are pissing me off on the highway and I got to be an asshole (as she likes to put it). She also pointed out to me that the car really likes the camera.

Manny the car handles great. Up where I/we were the roads are really curvey and I never, not once felt like I wasn't in control of the car. Oh... I think first gear might be a little too short for my liking but I think thats for the best cause second and third and forth are the shyznit.
Edit: first gear is similar to the s2k's. its crap until vtec; but when you hit vtec the gear is done (if you get what I mean).

Ah snap I didn't realize that was in Helen! That's a little ride from Marietta but some beautiful scenery, especially in mid-late October when the Oktober Fest is going on. There's a Pizza plance in Helen called "Pizza Pub." That is the BEST pizza I've ever had. Even beats Spanky's on River Street in Savannah. That nice homemade stuff.

E I love it up there. I felt a little out of place so I didn't really mingle with the town as much as I would like to. I know the pizza spot your talkin about. I know exactly where its at. So I guess you know about "Ms. Betty's" too huh? Helen is beautiful man. I'm sorry I was only there for the 3 days. next time I'm going for at least a week.

I don't remember exactly but Ms. Betty's rings a bell. It's been a while since I been. I wanna get a shot of my car on the Brasstown Bald, highest point in Georgia. The only time I went, it was CLOUDY and you couldn't see a damn thing cause it had been raining and ****. It's like 30 minutes from Helen. There's a place about 30 minutes from me called Santa Claus, in SOUTH GEORGIA! All the streets are snow, sleigh, raindeer, etc. it's really creepy. There's a John Deer dealership, convenient store, and laundromat. It's really a town but kinda looks like a subdivision with a highway through it.

stock fifth gen intake manifold (cause I sold the skunk2 and haven't installed the euro r yet :(....)
dc header for now I guess (not sure what I want to do just yet)
carsound/magna flow cat
tsudo exhaust
obdII to obdI conversion
virgin p13 ecu for now (not too sure where I want to go with the motor yet.)
I still haven't installed the fidanza short throw adaptor, it's sitting on my night stand lol.

some other little stuff not worth mentioning.

nothing internal. There is a myth that the eudm h23a vtec cams are bigger than the type s cams so that might be my next venture. I can't seem to find any evidience to back that however. The only way for me to find out is to actually get the cams and compare for myself. (measure them so to speak). Get a good header. maybe smsp or if kteller still makes one I'd love to get one. Those are the 2 that stands out to me.

other than that as you can see from the pics the car is stock.


it's coming along the way I want it. I think my plan is to put together the best combination of h22 parts into one solid machine. I've already started by getting the engine and took my SSoooo so long to find the tranny that I like. I might as well keep going. The only thing I'm really concerned with is to gain knowledge of those cams. If I'm right about these cams that would be a wonderful discovery to the entire prelude community.

yeah I have some minor body issues that I wanna work out on my lude. I have to get her street legal first.

He has cars sent to him from europe by customers. He'll be able to tell you if there's a difference in the cams from the usdm, jdm, and EUDm h22's. he IS the man.

appreciate all the compliments guys. I'm finally coming around and I'm actually going to be getting some wheels in a couple of weeks. out of 8 sh wheels I only have 3 good ones so I might as well. I don't care much for cosmetic appearance but I guess I'll go with that. So after 5 years I might do a little exterior modifications. I'll see how it goes.

taylor you don't want them. I can't sell them to anybody for the simple fact that the blades are cracked. 5 wheels have crack blades. I don't know how they keep air in the tires to be honest man

yeah I will.... when I bought the lude in 03' I paid 16k for it with 48k miles on it. I don't want one with that low of milage but I don't want one too high even though the engine in it will be replaced ;) very quickly.
